On January 15, 2025, Weidmuller held the “2025 Weidmuller VIP Dealer Strategy Seminar” in Suzhou. This conference lasted for one day, and only a dozen VIP distributors were invited. Mr. Andre Sombecki, Global CFO of Weidmuller, and Zhao Hongjun, Executive Vice President of Asia Pacific, attended this important meeting on behalf of Weidmuller. Lu Yanjun, Sales Director of Weidmuller China, and Sales Directors of various major regions also attended the meeting. Mr. Sean Zhang, Managing Director of Rexel China, Mr. Hu Junjin, Marketing Director of Rexel China, Mr. Shao Qingli, Senior Marketing Manager of Rexel China, and Mr. Wang Yifan, General Manager of Suzhou Xidian, were invited to attend the meeting.
Affected by the global environment, Weidmuller’s business in China experienced a slight decline in 2024. Lu Yanjun, the National Sales Director of Weidmuller, conducted a detailed review and analysis of Weidmuller’s overall business in 2024. Faced with market changes, Weidmuller proposed many empowerment strategies, such as the Spark Plan, to enhance the comprehensive strength of manufacturers and distributors, and increase the adhesion between manufacturers, distributors, and customers. At this meeting, Weidmuller made strategic sharing from various levels including global, China, and sales regions.
At the award ceremony, Rexel Electric was awarded the “Quality Partner Certificate” by Weidmuller, and Mr. Sean Zhang received this certificate on behalf of Rexel Electric. As the largest distributor of Weidmuller, Rexel Electric has always been at the forefront of the industry, actively responding to and implementing various policies, closely integrating with Weidmuller to jointly explore the market, continuously optimizing business structure and services, and achieving rapid business growth. This certificate is also a recognition and reward from Weidmuller for the outstanding performance of Rexel Electric.
After the award ceremony, Weidmuller organized a high-level dialogue session. Invited senior executives from distributors to come on stage and offer suggestions, jointly discussing how to expand business. Through Weidmuller’s strategic deployment and sales strategy, Weidmuller will work together with distributors to adapt to market changes and seize new opportunities. It’s believed that in the new year Rexel Electric and Weidmuller will work together in both directions to further strengthen the communication and cooperation, continuously improve service quality and customer experience, and take the business cooperation to the next level!
